AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) — Augusta will host a special afternoon of art, culture, and conversation called Le Cafe: An Afternoon of Culture, Art and Literary Experience. The event takes place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, at Greater Mount Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. Tickets are just $10.
Organizers say the goal is to connect the community and showcase local and visiting artists. “We were just sitting around a few of us who love art, in a connection with the community as well as having an impact or an opportunity for everyone to be able to realize how you expressing yourself and listening to others will be an impact not just for yourself but the community,” Kim Gaines said.
