AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – An area of rain along a cold front will move through the CSRA from late morning through the afternoon Sunday, then we can expect clear cool nights with mild, sunny days for the upcoming workweek.
The leading edge of the rain will move into Augusta around 11AM and should exit the region before sunset. This means western counties like Wilkes, Taliaferro, Hancock, Glascock, Warren, and McDuffie can expect rain as soon as about 10AM with eastern counties like Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell and Screven counties likely not seeing rain until at least the afternoon hours.
Total rainfall amounts are expected to be between a tenth and a quarter inch…
