AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – We’ll stay dry through Saturday, but a few showers, and even a rumble of thunder, are possible Sunday as our next front moves through the region. Dry conditions return with cooler than average temperatures for the upcoming work week.

After another cool start in the upper 40s and lower 50s, highs on Saturday will rebound nicely into the lower 80s with wind out of the south-southwest about 5 to 10 mph.

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible Sunday as our next front moves into the region. Timing could vary by a couple of hours, but it looks like showers will arrive late morning/midday and last through early evening. It will also be breezy Sunday with southwest wind steady between 10-15 mph and gusting 25-30 mph. Temperatures will top out in the middle to upper 70s during the day…
