THOMSON, Ga. – Roadwork in coming days will mean some changes for drivers in Richmond, McDuffie and Burke counties.
Richmond County
Telfair Street is closed between Sixth and Seventh streets because of drainage improvement work. Work is expected to be completed within three to four weeks.
On Greene Street from Third Street to East Boundary, paving is scheduled to take place on Saturday.
McDuffie County
A change in traffic patterss is coming up for McDuffie County drivers.
The Georgia Department of Transportation and contractor E.R. Snell are preparing to shift traffic at State Route 17 and the Thomson Bypass to a roundabout configuration on Oct. 27…
