WAYNESBORO, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A judge made no decision Tuesday after 16 hours of testimony in a dispute over whether the Burke County Board of Commissioners approved a reasonable budget for the sheriff’s office.
Testimony began around 10 a.m. at the Burke County Courthouse. The county’s chief financial officer testified for more than five hours, taking questions from attorneys representing both sides.
