Neighbors share coffee with cops at Beech Island cafe

BEECH ISLAND, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) — Neighbors had the chance to connect with law enforcement officers over coffee Wednesday morning at Sunrise Bistro at Crossroads in Aiken County.

The event provided a casual environment for community members to interact with police officers outside of emergency situations.

A North Augusta woman who was reported missing for months and later arrested is now avoiding jail time for some charges.
