AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Widespread and heavier rain spreads across the CSRA Monday. The rain is welcome with worsening drought conditions, but it could be quite heavy at times. Current thinking is that we can expect 1/2″ to 1″ rainfall on Monday with mainly just occasional light rain or drizzle Tuesday.
Another upper level system looks like it will develop and move in with another round of heavier rain Wednesday into Thursday. Timing of that system is still a bit uncertain with current thinking being that our best chance of rain could be Wednesday night.
The pattern shifts just in time for Halloween when sunshine returns with high temperatures slightly cooler than average in the middle 60s which will put 6 p.m. Trick-Or-Treat temperatures in the lower 60s…
