North Augusta Sets Up Tow-Away Zone in Riverside Village To Improve Safety

Officials will soon crack down on illegal parking throughout Riverside Village. The City Council backed the measure on Oct. 20, 2025, with final sign-off expected next month. Enforcement of the new rules is not expected until early 2026.

The rules will affect Lafayette, Front, and Center streets up to the Municipal Building. Violators who park in restricted spots will see their cars moved to a holding area. This includes all parking decks, with Augusta Oncology’s structure falling under the new rules.
