Aiken Residents Invited to 34th Annual Christmas in Hopelands at Hopelands Gardens, December 13–23

The City of Aiken, South Carolina, will hold the 34th Annual Christmas in Hopelands event at Hopelands Gardens from December 13 to December 23, 2025. The event will take place each night from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Visitors can walk through more than two miles of lighted pathways with over 100,000 lights. Admission is free. Activities and attractions are available for all ages.

Complimentary refreshments, such as hot cocoa, cider, and cookies, will be served in the Hall of Fame courtyard and outside the Guest Cottage. Several historic sites in the gardens, including the Doll House, Clifford S. Gerde Carriage Museum, Aiken Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame, and Rye Patch Stables, will be open and decorated. Children can do crafts and meet Santa Claus at Rye Patch. S’mores kits will be available for a $5 donation to Helping Hands.

Live entertainment will be held each night at 7:00 p.m. on the Roland H. Windham Performing Arts Stage.
