Walmart Remodels Multiple Augusta Locations With Health Services and Dining Options

Walmart wrapped up work at several locations in the Augusta area. The company pushed ahead with plans to remodel more than 650 stores across the country. Workers renovated buildings on Bobby Jones Expressway and Evans to Locks Road in Martinez, plus two other sites on Wrightsboro Road and South Belair Road.

The Bobby Jones Expressway Supercenter at 260 Bobby Jones Expressway took 16 weeks to finish. Workers threw a re-grand opening party on Oct. 31, 2025. The 220,431-square-foot building got a Dunkin’ shop, new registers, refinished floors, new paint, and brighter lights in restrooms.

The Martinez Neighborhood Market at 3851 Evans to Locks Road needed 14 weeks. Its re-grand opening happened on Oct. 24, 2025. This 34,078-square-foot building received new concrete floors, new paint, and a screen for showing information in the deli…
