AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – United Way of the CSRA has seen phone lines overwhelmed with calls for assistance over the last few weeks as the government shutdown continues to impact local families.
The YMCA is also seeing an increase in need. The organization typically serves about 600 people across their 10 locations but expects to triple that number this month.
