20-year-old driver sentenced for 2024 prom night crash that killed 2 teens

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A 20-year-old Georgia man was sentenced Monday in connection with the April 2024 prom night crash on I-40 that killed two teenagers and seriously injured two others.

William Tyson Neumann, from Augusta, Ga., pleaded guilty to two counts of involuntary manslaughter and one count of reckless driving in Buncombe County Superior Court on Monday, Nov. 10.
