You may have heard the rumor that Chick-fil-A now has a vending machine available that is, like its restaurants, closed on Sundays. That rumor has been confirmed by the company but don’t expect a major vending presence from the chicken chain.
Chick-fil-A recently started a “short-term test” of a temperature-controlled market fridge at Children’s Hospital of Georgia in Augusta, Ga., and Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. According to a company spokesperson, these will be the only two locations for this test.
“The market fridge, which only contains the Chick-fil-A Cool Wrap, Southwest Veggie Wrap, and two flavors of Waffle Potato Chips, seeks to provide a convenient option for hospital employees, students, and visitors on the go,” the spokesperson said. “(They) provide another way to meet customers where they are, like late at night when other food options may not be available.”…
