AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Dozens of volunteers spent their morning along the Augusta Canal, rolling up their sleeves to help clean and restore one of the city’s historic landmarks.
The cleanup was hosted by Mayor Garnett Johnson as part of his Operation City Clean-Up initiative, an effort aimed at cleaning up the city.
