AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – A suspect was sentenced to decades in prison for a shooting that injured a teenage girl at an Aiken Walmart.
Stephen Christopher Foreman pleaded guilty but mentally ill in connection with the June 7, 2023, shooting at the Walmart on Whiskey Road.
He was sentenced on Oct. 20 to 28 years in prison with long-term mental health treatment for a charge of assault/attempted murder, as well as five years for possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to court records…
