AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) — A late-night shooting in Augusta has turned deadly.
Richmond County deputies were called to the 1300 block of 10th Street just before 11 p.m. Friday. Investigators say several men were sitting on a porch when someone opened fire.
The victim, identified as 24-year-old Heavaugh Leigene Brooks, was taken to the hospital by a private car before deputies arrived. He died from his injuries early Saturday morning…
