Augusta Eats: The seafood restaurant keeps thriving as downtown keeps evolving

For more than 30 years, Beamie’s at the River has been a fixture of the downtown Augusta Riverwalk area.

Delicious seafood, a dynamite gumbo, a laid-back nautical theme, and a large bar that screams out, ‘Come, sit down, and stay for a while,’ have kept it thriving as the riverfront has evolved and thrived.
