NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – North Augusta transformed into a Christmas wonderland Saturday as families gathered for the city’s Tinseltown event.
The downtown celebration featured music, crafts, food, and fresh-cut trees for families preparing for Christmas Eve. Children roasted marshmallows while parents shopped for holiday treats and fresh wreaths.
The event was part of Small Business Saturday, designed to draw visitors to local businesses.
“Our goal really is just to bring people downtown to help businesses in town, give people a reason to come to downtown instead of just driving through it.
