AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – An Augusta mom is behind bars for allegedly hitting her daughter.
Reports from the RCSO, said that Deidra Shipes hit her 14-year-old in the face and body with a belt after the child did not take “the cat with dark spirits” outside. The alleged abuse left redness and welts on the child’s body.
The girl allegedly refused and ran outside with her bother. Shipes reportedly followed and the children ran back inside locking their mother out, according to law enforcement…
