EVANS, Ga. (WJBF) – The Burn Foundation of America hosted its annual “Shop With a Doc” event at the Evans Wal-Mart on Tuesday.
The event is put together in an effort to cheer up pediatric burn patients during the season.
“We take a list of the last year and a half patients that have been treated at the burn center out every year about this hospital send out an invitation, they RSVP and then they come in and the burn patients have an allowance of $150, and they can go buy whatever they want.,” said Steve Chalker, president and CEO of the Burn Foundation of America…
