GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Parents in Grovetown were notified Thursday of two separate incidents that raised the concerns of administrators.
At Grovetown Middle School
Parents were told in a letter from Grovetown Middle School Principal Blake Stitcher that “a report has been made concerning a student making an inappropriate comment of a threatening nature to another student.”
The principal told parents that administrators and school district police are investigating and if any report is substantiated, the student or students will be held accountable according to the code of conduct and the law.
“The safety of students and staff is a top priority, and we take incidents such as these extremely seriously and will investigate fully,” parents were told. “Parents, please speak with your student about the dangers of making inappropriate or threatening comments, even in a joking manner, and the serious consequences that will follow.”
