AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of Washington Road and Woodbine Road in reference to a crash on Friday.
According to police, the incident took place at approximately 9:24 a.m. on Dec. 12.
Authorities identified an unmarked RCSO vehicle was stopped at the red light westbound on Washington Road at Woodbine Road. Officers then determined that a Gold Cross ambulance was traveling westbound in the same lane and failed to stop, which reportedly caused the ambulance to strike the rear of the sheriff’s office vehicle…
