First Alert Forecast l Falling temperatures, windy Sunday. Dangerous cold to start the work week.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A strong cold front will push through Sunday morning bringing a brief round of showers through 9 a.m. Sunday and dangerously cold temperatures to start the workweek.

A FIRST ALERT has been issued for Sunday night into Monday morning for frigid temperatures and wind chill values in the lower teens. Bitter cold will stick around Tuesday morning, but the rest of the week will be warmer.

A Lake Wind Advisory is in effect Sunday for 25 to 30 mph wind gusts in the wake of the front Sunday with a Cold Weather Advisory issued from 8 p.m. Sunday through 10 a.m. Monday when wind chill values will be in the 10 to 15 degree range…
