Augusta, Ga. – The Augusta women pulled away in the fourth quarter to post a 62-50 win over Georgia College and State University Saturday afternoon at Christenberry Fieldhouse. With the win, the Jaguars improve to 3-1 in Peach Belt Conference play and 6-2 overall The Bobcats fall to 1-4 in conference and 1-8 overall.
Augusta had a balanced scoring attack and were led by Sierra Burns 13 points, Amari Jackson had a season high 12 points while Quinasia Abercrombie tallied nine points.
