COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – According to the Georgia Department of Public Safety, on Wednesday, December 31st at 7:25 a.m., a Georgia State Trooper checked a motorcycle speeding on I-20 Westbound near the Wheeler Road Exit at mile marker 196.
The motorcyclist fled from the attempted stop, initiating a pursuit by the Georgia State Patrol Unit.
