AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Greater Augusta Arts Council announced the installation of “Hydrangeas,” three new sculptures at Pendleton King Park.
The sculptures were created by local artists Wesley L. Stewart and Colleen Beyer-Stewart of September Art Studios. Made of steel, they were hand painted to represent found throughout Pendleton King Park’s gardens.
“Hydrangeas” marks the first new public art installation since the park’s reopening after Hurricane Helene and represents the beginning of what is hoped to become a future sculpture trail…
