AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) – Hydrant flushing started downtown Aiken Sunday morning, and over the next week, folks may notice temporary drops in water pressure or cloudy water.
The work targets older pipes downtown. City crews are moving through Aiken in sections throughout the year. This helps the city systematically test and maintain every hydrant in the system.
