Miracle Monday: Mother’s tribute to daughter teaches children to see beyond disability

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A mother’s tribute to her daughter is teaching children everywhere to see beyond disability through a book called “Possibilities.”

Cindy Boudreaux wrote the book inspired by her daughter Alyson, who was born with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome.

“Alyson and her twin Alyssa had twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, which is where the placenta develops abnormally, but the babies are normally developing,” Boudreaux said. “Alyssa passed away in utero at about 24 to 25 weeks’ gestation, which caused blood clots to pass into Alyson and lodge in her central nervous system.”…
