AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation said Monday repairs are planned for the Sand Bar Ferry Road bridge this month.
Beginning the week of Jan. 12, SCDOT crews will begin work on the bridge over the Savannah River in Aiken County.
One westbound lane over the bridge will be closed, and westbound traffic will merge into one lane to conduct repairs. Signage is also expected to be displayed at the site indicating the lane closure.
