Pipe bursts at Aiken Co. school, students dismissing early

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – A pipe burst in the basement area of Schofield Middle School, and has resulted in extensive flooding within the basement area of the school.

In order to fix the leak, the power has been shut down for the campus.Due to the loss of power, students were dismissed from school early Wednesday, at 11:45 a.m.They got lunch prior to their dismissal.

Students who are bus riders will be transported home at that time. Car riders and walkers will also be dismissed…
