AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A Lake Wind Advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. Sunday with northwesterly winds gusting 30 to 40 mph Sunday afternoon.
A strong cold front passed through the CSRA early Sunday morning bringing a return of colder than average temperatures to the Augusta area for the upcoming week.
Sunday will be sunny with temperatures about 20 to 25 degrees cooler than the 81 degrees we hit on Saturday. This will put highs in the upper 50s in Augusta with middle 50s north of town and lower 60s for the southern CSRA.
