The Target at 2545 Whiskey Road in Aiken is staying open while getting a makeover. According to the Aiken Standard, a Target Corporation spokesperson confirmed this on Jan. 12, 2026.
This is a part of Target’s bigger initiative to open new and larger stores this year as well as update their existing stores. Target plans to spend around $5 billion this year to improve their markets around the country.
The work will bring a bigger grocery section to shoppers, who’ll find fresh produce, meat, and dairy when crews finish. Pantry items and daily needs will fill the shelves too…
