Unfortunately for our snow lovers, most of South Carolina missed out on the snow today.
We did get a few reports of a brief rain/snow mix in parts of Aiken and Edgefield counties, but for most areas it was just a cold rain.
That cold rain will continue to move out this afternoon and should be completely out of the Midlands by around 4 PM.
After that, skies will clear quickly as a cold, dry air mass settles in.
Overnight temperatures will drop into the low to mid 20s across the region, which does raise some concern for black ice late tonight and early Monday morning.
