AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Salvation Army and local businesses in Aiken say they have seen an increase in the homeless population in downtown Aiken, with some incidents scaring shoppers, but they don’t want this to scare away business and are hoping for a change and for people to get the help they need.
Clemson University and Anderson University have each confirmed a case of measles on their campuses, according to officials.
“It’s a problem for everybody. But we’re seeing it downtown quite a bit more and it’s becoming more of a problem downtown,” said Bobby Ard, who owns Beyond Bijoux.
