AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, Narcotics Division, and Crime Suppression Team executed two search warrants, leading to multiple arrests on Wednesday.
According to the sheriff’s office, investigators searched two rooms on Jan. 21 at the Budgetel Inn and Suites on 954 5th Street in Augusta. During the search, RCSO said it located approximately 103.7 grams of fentanyl, approximately 3.9 grams of crack cocaine, 35 oxycodone tablets, miscellaneous narcotics, and two firearms, one of which it says was stolen.
