AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – A “large number” of infected trees will be cut down this week in a bid to contain disease spread along Charleston Street SE in Aiken.
The trees — Water Oaks lining the parkway in the 300 block of Charleston Street SE — are infected with oak wilt, according to the city.
