Vampire Penguin, the downtown Aiken frozen dessert shop, is being put up for sale by owners Jeannette Moseley and Ryan Moseley. They opened the store in 2021 but now plan to partner on a different business.
Jeannette Moseley posted a message on Facebook about their decision. She said they’re moving toward a business her husband has wanted to start for years.
She wrote, “Vampire Penguin Aiken is NOT closing, we are not loosing our lease… we aren’t going anywhere. We are open, operating as usual, and proudly celebrating 5 years in Aiken this April… What is happening is that we are thoughtfully exploring the next chapter for the business while supporting a new venture we have stepped into.”…
