Columbia County residents voice concerns at master plan meeting

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Columbia County residents gathered to make their voices heard for the county’s new master plan called “Foundations for the Future.” The plan outlines recommendations and possible development for the county in the years to come.

“This has been a year-long process. We’ve had a number of community events,” said Scott Sterling, planning services director.

Possible snow comes to the area less than a week after a winter weather event blanketed northern parts of the CSRA over the weekend.

The county says thousands of people have taken surveys, viewed the plan and attended in-person events to shape the county’s future.
