But NewsChannel 6’s John Hart stood in this exact same spot just more than a year ago and watched driver after driver get to the top of the hill and realized they couldn’t stop on the slippery surface.
At that point you’re at nature’s mercy as you slide to the bottom of the hill. If you get there safely, you can’t get back up the hill on the other side. End result? no injuries or major damage last year – but several cars collected at the bottom of the hill that couldn’t move leaving drivers stranded for hours – even a day.
