After years of serving the community as a retail store, Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA’s Wrightsboro Road will be a dedicated donation center.
A news release from Goodwill said the organization “is deeply grateful for the many shoppers, donors, and neighbors who have supported the Wrightsboro Road location over the years. That support has helped fund life-changing programs that provide job training, education, and career services to more than 10,000 people each year across Middle Georgia and the CSRA.”
“This transition allows us to continue serving the community while we prepare for what’s next,” said Jennifer Tyner, Vice President of Marketing and Development, of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA. “Donations made at Wrightsboro Road directly support our mission, including education through Helms College, the only college in the world supported by a Goodwill organization. Through an intensive, wrap-around support model and a classroom-to-lab-to-career approach, we help people earn the credentials and hands-on training they need to move into meaningful, in-demand careers right here in our community.”…
