Batesburg-Leesville man arrested in connection to 2 assaults

BATESBURG, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – A Batesburg-Leesville man has been arrested following two violent assaults at within weeks of each other, according to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.

Wesley Gene Thomas II, was taken into custody in connection with incidents at a home on Goose Platter Road.

According to the incident report, on Oct. 22, deputies responded to a disturbance complaint around 5 p.m.
