Augusta Municipal Golf Course Reopens April 15 After Tiger Woods Renovation

Augusta Municipal Golf Course opens April 15. The wait ends after 16 months of work that transformed the old layout into something new. Tom Fazio and Beau Welling redesigned the main course, while Tiger Woods and TGR Design built a nine-hole short course. Locals can play 18 holes on weekdays for $25 at the site now called The Patch.

A soft opening starts mid-March. High school teams and regulars get first access with limited tee times. Masters week brings private events, then the gates open for everyone three days after the 2026 tournament wraps on April 12.

Walking rates for residents run $25 Monday through Thursday, jumping to $35 Friday through Sunday. The Loop at The Patch costs $15 for locals. Seniors and juniors pay $20 on weekdays, $30 on weekends for the full course…
