Augusta commissioner, public criticize last minute adds to meeting agendas

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – It’s a common commission practice, but some members believe it should not be practiced as often.

“It catches us off guard because we don’t know about it until Tuesday, the day of the meeting,” said Mayor Pro-Tem Wayne Guilfoyle.Commission agendas come out on Fridays before Tuesday’s meetings, but commissioners can add items on meeting days. They are called addendums.
