Doctors Hospital cuts ribbon on new diagnostic center

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A new women’s diagnostic center opened Thursday at Doctors Hospital, expanding breast cancer detection services with advanced technology, including 3-D mammograms, biopsies and MRIs.

The ribbon cutting was from noon to 2 p.m. at 3624 J Dewey Gray Circle.

The center is part of Doctors Hospital’s $150 million community campaign. The facility features separate screening and diagnostic waiting areas for privacy and includes a dedicated space for breast ultrasounds…
