AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County School System announced an update to its 2025-2026 academic calendar on Tuesday.
“Due to previous school closures caused by inclement weather this spring, Friday, April 3, 2026, which was previously scheduled as a PowerUp Asynchronous Learning Day, will now be an in-person learning day,” a statement released from the school system on Feb. 24 reads in part.
