Two more facing charges in 2025 Tranard Sheppard murder, ACSO says

WARRENVILLE, S.C. (WJBF) – The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office that two more people have been arrested in connection to the shooting death of 18-year-old Tranard Sheppard.

Freziyeth Culbreath and Tyrese Washington are both in the Aiken County Detention Center charged with Accessory After the Fact of Murder.

This latest arrest makes a total of 6 people allegedly connected to this case.

On January 20th, 2026, investigators charged 17-year-old Cornelius Marquel Simpkins, Jr. of Beech Island with Murder and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime.

19-year-old Rahmel Simmons and 17-year-old Trezquan Moment were apprehended January 29th, 2026. Both also charged with Murder and Possession during the Commission of a Crime.

In July 2025, investigators charged 17-year-old Marquis Edric Robinson, of North Augusta with Murder and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.

The victim was shot and killed on June 22nd, 2025 on Sarah Street in Warrenville…
