AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The 2026 Augusta Half Marathon, 10K & 5K will be held this Saturday, and traffic will be impacted.
From 7 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on Feb. 28, the races, presented by Georgia Carolina Orthopedics., will start and end at the Augusta University Summerville Campus on 2500 Walton Way. The Half Marathon will begin at 7:15 a.m., followed by the 10K and 5K at 7:45 a.m. The Medals for Miles Kids Fun Run will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Traffic impacts in and around Augusta should be expected, including in the Augusta Canal, Summerville, and the Lakemont/Lake Olmstead area. Because of this, Augusta residents, businesses, and those visiting the city will potentially be affected and should anticipated delays during the time…
