AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Ms. Vivian McKnight, the oldest Veteran currently residing at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home, turned 106 on Monday, March 9, 2026.
Friends there shared some of Ms. McKnight’s secrets to her long life.
“Well, she told me it was exercise and not having children. That’s from her words several years back,” said Victoria Burt, McKnight’s longtime friend. “She would always exercise, doing about 15 to 20 minutes every day on her stationary bicycle.”…
