The 22nd annual Drive for Show, Rock Fore! Dough concert happens April 7 at the Lady A Pavilion and Evans Towne Center Park. This event brings in funds for First Tee-Augusta, the golf and life skills program for kids. Every dollar from ticket sales goes straight to the group.
First Tee-Augusta has pulled in more than $1.7 million through this yearly concert. They work to build character in young people using golf as the tool. The program zeroes in on kids from low- to moderate-income families, minorities, girls, students with disabilities, and those from underserved communities.
“Rock Fore! Dough has become a Master Week tradition, and First Tee – Augusta is grateful for the continued support of the community for this great event,” said Jill Brown, executive director of First Tee-Augusta, according to WRDW. “This has been a different year for First Tee – Augusta. Our course has been under construction in conjunction with The Patch Project and we are excited to reopen to the public!”…
