Authorities allege that a Georgia mother killed her two babies more than three years apart by holding their noses.

A Georgia woman, Dakota Nicole Taylor, 21, from Wrens, faces murder charges for allegedly suffocating her two infant sons years apart by obstructing their nostrils. Authorities linked the deaths after her second son died, reopening the first case previously ruled undetermined.

Taylor’s 7-month-old son Micah died in September 2021 at a DeKalb County home for teenage mothers; he was found slumped and pale in his swing after a bath. Her 8-month-old son Caleb was found unresponsive on January 8, 2025, in Matthews (Jefferson County) and died at a hospital despite efforts to revive him.
